Right now, it's technically the day before the first day of voting for the second round of December, but we have only three track submissions. So let's merge December's second round with the first round of January. That means track submissions are now open until January 8th.
Happy New Year

I suggested this before, if this group is to survive it must be promoted. I don't know what the best way to do that might be, but might I suggest a Facebook Group. There are LOTS of folks on FB creating and sharing electronic music, discussing hardware and software synths, etc. Create a better logo, something new and bitchin', create a FB page and promote the hell out of it. We can all create artist pages for our respective projects as well. We can use the FB format as the hub, keep the hub here, continue to use Soundcloud as the hosting environment, whatever. That's just one suggestion, there may be some better ideas out there, but let's do something or this thing is going to disappear.

asensory If you created the Facebook page, I would join it. Maybe I will get around to making the page some day, if I find a chance. I think part of our problem here is that the whole Soundcloud userbase (not just DE) has been slowly dwindling/becoming less involved with the site. I like the features that Facebook offers for sharing and providing feedback on people's work, e.g. embedding, commenting, liking. But I'm surprised to hear that there are a lot of folks actively using the site to promote electronic music. I've seen & joined a few groups dedicated to beats or experimental electronic, and, from what I could tell, they were much less active than even today's Soundcloud.

Hmm, well its not my job but let's see if I can separate out the time. I don't have the capacity to do fancy artwork, someone else will have to provide. If they do I might be able to deploy it.

I looked into it, I have to have friends (on Facebook) to add to a group. that means we should have people add to this thread with their fb identities, so they can be added to the group.
